Project Overview

College Terrace Apartments is an older student apartment complex next to the University of Nevada, Reno campus. The developer asked us to spruce up the Apartments' brand among college students by updating the logo and the website. With new college apartments springing up in the neighborhood, College Terrace Apartments needed a complete online facelift.

The Solution

In studying the local campus housing competition, we realized that most of the local student housing options offered newer but smaller student housing rentals. Our branding solution needed to communicate a hip yet authentic representation of the College Terrace Apartments. We selected fonts that represent college football mixed with a condensed modern sans serif.

For the website, we hired a photographer to shoot the facility, featuring its proximity to the campus. Among all of the campus housing, this property is the closest apartment complex to campus and is right next to the dorms. We featured images of the secure parking, larger rooms, larger kitchen storage and wrote text that communicated this same message. The one-page website features a beautiful modern layout with sliders and happy students enjoying one another and studying...that was even purposeful. The owner wants students that want to study and not party and destroy his property.
